Our ten heritage Queen rooms have been lovingly restored with a blend of thoughtful design and countryside charm. Based on the second floor of the hotel, no two rooms are the same, with antiques, bespoke bed-heads and a soothing colour palette. What they lack in size, they make up for in charm. Enjoy a Dine & Stay package, with dinner at The Woodshed before your head hits the plump pillow for a well deserved rest.

Step out onto the wraparound veranda and take in peaceful views of rolling hills and the sounds of the countryside. It’s quiet, it’s calm, and it’s the kind of place where you can truly switch off. After a comfortable nights sleep, enjoy your morning coffee with a house made croissant by a warming fire in the courtyard.

Whether you're here for a romantic weekend, an escape with friends, or a weekend workshop, our heritage Queen rooms offer a warm, unhurried escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Please note, the heritage building means that the bathrooms are not ensuite, but down the hall.

FAQs

Everything you need to know when making a reservation.

  • The historic nature and layout of the The Kin Kin Hotel means that the bathrooms are down the hallway. Bathrobes are supplied for the duration of your stay.

    If you require a room with closer proximity to bathrooms, please contact us. We will do our best to accommodate any requests. 

  • The heritage rooms are beautifully furnished and the walls are thin! We can therefore only welcome children over the age of 14 who will respect the grownup peaceful environment.  Unfortunately we cannot accommodate young children or pets in the hotel rooms. We welcome, dogs, horses and children in other parts of the pub!

  • Unfortunately, Currently we only offer a Dine & Stay package if you are eating at The Woodshed restaurant.

A few things to note

  • A tea and coffee station  is provided in the common room upstairs for use at any time. A farm house breakfast will be provided downstairs.

  • Please return your room keys to reception if you are planning on leaving the Hotel during your stay. The keys are the old fashioned variety and cannot be easily replaced if lost! 

  • Kin Kin is a quiet country village and we would ask all our guests to be respectful of our neighbours especially at night. 

  • We take full payment for accommodation upon your booking of the Dine & Stay package. Should you wish to make an amendment or postpone your stay please email hello@kinkinhotel.com

  • We regret that we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage to personal items during your visit. We therefore recommend that valuables are not left unattended or given to the team to be stored in our safe.

  • Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout of The Kin Kin Hotel. A designated smoking area can be found outside the hotel on Main Street. 

  • In the event of any damage or loss to the contents of your room, including stains to any soft furnishings, rugs, artwork or bathrobes, we reserve the right to charge the credit or debit card used to book your reservation with the cost of repair or replacement. 

  • Free wifi is available throughout the property.

    The Woodshed

    Where fire, flavour and craftsmanship sit alongside the open-fire kitchen. The seven course set menu unfolds luxuriously over the evening.
