Public Heritage Bar

A classic country pub, reimagined

Step into living history in our beautifully restored heritage bar. Over a century of stories linger in the timber and a perfectly poured schooner is never far away. With 12 beers on tap, morning coffee and pastries, and a carefully curated selection of wine and top-shelf spirits, there’s something to suit every taste and occasion.

Unwind with country hospitality

Morning or night, the All Day Menu kicks off at 8 am, featuring everything from small bar snacks to house-baked almond croissants, savoury pastries and cakes.

In the Heritage Bar and The Pavilion, the Heritage Bar menu is a celebration of fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients. Expect pub classics done right, like the popular home-made cheeseburgers, perfectly cooked steaks, and crispy fries. Head Chef Oscar Holgado’s more refined options of pork rillettes, housemade mortadella, zucchini flowers, and marinated tomato salad have developed a following of loyal fans.

Forget generic, frozen and fried pub grub. This is a return to how pub food should be: fresh, tasty, local, and perfect for sharing. Gather some friends, order a few plates, and enjoy a great meal and a good laugh!

Seating in the bar is flexible and unreserved, from a long banquette to comfy sofas and low tables. So, roll in as you are, whether you're fresh off a bike ride, a horse trek, or a morning yoga session.

The Courtyard, exclusively yours.

While the public Heritage Bar offers unreserved seating, for those planning a special occasion, consider booking The Courtyard exclusive. This charming space, accommodating up to 25 guests, is the perfect spot to enjoy the delectable heritage bar menu and a selection of handcrafted cocktails in a truly private setting.

HEAD CHEF

Oscar Holgado
